SADDLE MAKING, WALLETS & TOTE BAGS

Mondragon Saddle Makers started as a father and son run business. I did most of the running and my father did most of the leather crafting.

My Dad started making Saddles and Turquoise jewelry for a neighbor of his when he was 11 years old in 1969.

Throughout his life, he has been a saddle maker, racquetball pro, public speaker, and real estate developer but now in retirement, he is back full time to do something that he loves which is leather crafting and creating with his hands plus working for me his youngest son.

Nate Sisson is now a partner in an LLC that we created to embark on a leather goods business, a dream that we both have had for most of our lives.

I am so proud to have Mr. Sisson as an excited partner.

Biography of Nate Sison. He deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom 1 & 2. (OIF 1 & 2) November 2003 to November 2004.  He was with “A” - Alpha Company, 1st Battalion 23rd Infantry Regiment of the 3rd Brigade / 2nd Infantry Division.  Then deployed to Afghanistan February 2011 to December 2011 with the “D” company 1st Battalion, 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (AIRBORNE).  He currently is working for the Veterans Administration and as a First Responder for the City of Lewistown, Utah as a firefighter, EMT and training officer for Utah Fire & EMS.

For half of a century, My Dad the Master craftsman has been building leather goods that have become family heirlooms.  Now together the three of us will combine our passion and respect for quality in building items that will last for generations.

Wallets, Tote Bags, Women’s purses, Briefcases, Billiard cue cases, Tool holsters and Case goods. Custom saddles are consigned and crafted with the customers at Mondragon Saddle Makers.

We will honor, repair and warranty our products for as long as you own them and love them like we do.
